| dc.description.abstract | Neste Trabalho de Conclusão de Concurso, serão analisadas enquanto performances negras duas canções do álbum Lemonade, de Beyoncé, lançado em abril do ano de 2016, uma vez que a obra apresenta abordagens relevantes e pertinentes para discussões em torno do racismo, feminismo, afirmação cultural e pertencimento. A motivação científica se dá por uma inquietação pessoal, cuja finalidade é sublinhar a importância da voz, corpo e pensamento enquanto memória negra na obra em questão. A análise proposta sobre canções do álbum Lemonade enfoca o discurso presente nas canções Formation e Freedom, que pautam a questão racial. Como objetivos secundários, pretende-se avaliar as correlações desses discursos com o feminismo negro, contextualizar historicamente a reflexão, ressaltando o diálogo filosófico e político com os ideais do Partido dos Panteras Negras e de movimentos consequentes, como Black Lives Matter, salientando o discurso de afirmação e pertencimento no álbum musical. Para isso, serão imprescindíveis os vieses de reflexão teórica sobre raça e sociedade em Angela Davis (1981), Grada Kilomba (2019) e Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor (2016). Adotar-se-á a pesquisa bibliográfica como metodologia de cunho qualitativo, de caráter exploratório sobre o objeto ressaltado e foco destacado, as duas canções presentes no álbum Lemonade. Como fonte de pesquisa, foram utilizados capítulos de livros, seções de teses e dissertações, arquivos jornalísticos disponíveis digitalmente, com seleção e fichamento dos mesmos, bem como produção de resenhas críticas, que serviram como base para o texto deste trabalho. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | In this Contest Conclusion Paper, two songs from the album Lemonade, by Beyoncé, released in April 2016, will be analyzed as black performances, since the work presents relevant and pertinent approaches to discussions around racism, feminism, cultural affirmation. and belonging. The scientific motivation is given by a personal restlessness, whose purpose is to underline the importance of the voice, body and thought as a black memory in the work in question. The proposed analysis of songs from the Lemonade album focuses on the discourse present in the songs Formation and Freedom, which guide the racial issue. As secondary objectives, we intend to evaluate the correlations of these discourses with black feminism, historically contextualize the reflection, highlighting the philosophical and political dialogue with the ideals of the Black Panther Party and consequent movements, such as Black Lives Matter, highlighting the discourse of affirmation and belonging in the musical album. For this, the biases of theoretical reflection on race and society in Angela Davis (1981), Grada Kilomba (2019) and Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor (2016) will be essential. Bibliographic research will be adopted as a qualitative methodology, with an exploratory character on the highlighted object and highlighted focus, the two songs present in the Lemonade album. As a source of research, book chapters, theses and dissertations sections, journalistic files available digitally, with their selection and filing, as well as the production of critical reviews, were used, which served as the basis for the text of this work. | |
