dc.description.abstractEste estudo objetiva pesquisar e resgatar a memória e a história da Mística Ordem Rosacruz (AMORC), desde suas origens, sua organização e os princípios que orientam suas práticas espirituais e filosóficas, seu desenvolvimento, principalmente em Salvador BA. A Ordem Rosacruz, também conhecida como AMORC – Antiga e Mística Ordem Rosacruz, é uma organização mística e esotérica que tem suas raízes na antiguidade egípcia, na tradição da Rosacruz, um movimento que surgiu na Europa no início do século XVII. A AMORC é conhecida por promover o estudo de temas como a espiritualidade, a alquimia, a astrologia e outras disciplinas esotéricas, com base em tradições místicas e herméticas. É uma organização que tem membros em todo o mundo e busca o desenvolvimento espiritual e pessoal de seus membros por meio do estudo e da prática desses princípios. Com um percurso histórico e trajetória de transformação com fases de expansão e retração, enfrentando desafios e momentos de renovação. Aprofundar-se nessa história permite uma compreensão do seu papel na evolução do pensamento esotérico e místico, na continuidade de princípios e tradições, buscando compreender seus princípios e sua atuação no mundo contemporâneo. Os aspectos metodológicos se assentam no método bibliográfico, documental, com o uso de fontes, secundárias, obras que trazem a reflexão sobre as sociedades secretas, a história e a religião, bem como documentos históricos, registros internos do acervo da ordem, publicações da AMORC com o entrecruzamento da metodologia da História Oral, depoimentos de membros em Salvador-BA, na Loja Mares. Pretende-se lançar luz sobre a jornada histórica da Antiga Ordem Mística Rosa Cruz (AMORC), destacando sua importância contínua e seu lugar no cenário esotérico e místico, baiano, com a consolidação da sua atuação no âmbito cultural e social.
dc.description.abstract2This study aims to research and rescue the memory and history of the Mystical Order of the Rosicrucians (AMORC), from its origins, its organization and the principles that guide its spiritual and philosophical practices, and its development, mainly in Salvador-BA. The Rosicrucian Order, also known as AMORC – Ancient and Mystical Order of the Rosicrucians, is a mystical and esoteric organization that has its roots in ancient Egypt, in the tradition of the Rosicrucians, a movement that emerged in Europe in the early 17th century. AMORC is known for promoting the study of themes such as spirituality, alchemy, astrology and other esoteric disciplines, based on mystical and hermetic traditions. It is an organization that has members all over the world and seeks the spiritual and personal development of its members through the study and practice of these principles. With a historical path and trajectory of transformation with phases of expansion and retraction, facing challenges and moments of renewal. Delving deeper into this history allows us to understand its role in the evolution of esoteric and mystical thought, in the continuity of principles and traditions, seeking to understand its principles and its role in the contemporary world. The methodological aspects are based on the bibliographic and documentary method, with the use of secondary sources, works that reflect on secret societies, history and religion, as well as historical documents, internal records from the order's collection, AMORC publications with the intersection of the Oral History methodology, and testimonies from members in Salvador-BA, at the Mares Lodge. The aim is to shed light on the historical journey of the Ancient Mystical Order of the Rose Cross (AMORC), highlighting its continued importance and its place in the esoteric and mystical scene of Bahia, with the consolidation of its role in the religious and social spheres.
