dc.description.abstractSaúde digital consiste em todas as transformações que as novas tecnologias são capazes de promover no setor saúde. Na saúde digital podem ser utilizados sistemas inteligentes, inteligência artificial, softwares, prontuário eletrônico, business inteligence, big data, block chain, virtual learning, scanner e impressão 3D e 4D. Nateleodontologia, o uso da tecnologia em sistemas inteligentes é crescente e tem sido usada para atendimento, consulta, telemonitoramento, educação permanente de profissionais e pacientes. Pode ser utilizada de modo síncrono (on-line) ou assíncrono (off line). O período de pandemia de COVID-19 trouxe impactos humanitários, econômicos e políticos em vários países. A área da saúde foi diretamente afetada, inclusive a Odontologia. Uma vez que os procedimentos eletivos foram suspensos no início da pandemia e ficaram restritos às urgências e emergências, a teleodontologia foi evidenciada como uma forma de apoiar na demanda de atendimentos, se tornando uma ferramenta importante nesse período e posteriormente. O objetivo desse estudo foi identificar na literatura ações de teleodontologia implementadas durante a pandemia de COVID-19 em diferentes países. Este estudo trata-se de uma revisão sistemática da literatura científica. Foram utilizadas as bases de dados: Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), PubMed e Science Direct para selecionar os artigos. Os descritores utilizados foram: teleodontology and covid 19, teleodontology and oral health and covid, telemonitoring and oral health and covid, telehealth and covid and oral health, teleconsultation and oral health and covid, tecnologia and saúde bucal and covid, teleodontologia and covid, telemonitoramento covid and saúde bucal, teleconsulta and covid and saúde bucal, telessaúde and covid and saúde bucal. Os estudos selecionados mostraram que a teleodontologia foi utilizada nos diferentes países durante a pandemia para fazer telemonitoramento, teletriagem, teleorientação de pacientes de cirurgia dentoalveolar e maxilofacial, idosos com doença de Parkinson, pacientes em tratamento ortodôntico, crianças em idade pré escolar e para educação permanente, dentre outras aplicações. Essa estratégia pode continuar sendo utilizada no período pós pandêmico, sendo importante para complementar os atendimentos presenciais.
dc.description.abstract2Digital health consists of all the transformations that new technologies are able to promote in the health sector. In digital health, intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, software, electronic medical records, business intelligence, big data, block chain, virtual learning, scanner and 3D and 4D printing are used. In teledentistry, the use of technology in intelligent systems is growing have been used for care, consultation, telemonitoring, permanent education of professionals and patients. It can be used synchronously (online) or asynchronously (offline). The period of the COVID-19 pandemic brought humanitarian, economic and political impacts in several countries. The health area was directly affected, including dentistry. Since elective procedures were suspended at the beginning of the pandemic and were restricted to urgencies and emergencies, teledentistry was evidenced as a way to support the demand for care, becoming an important tool in this period and later. The objective of this study was to identify in the literature teledentistry actions implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic in different countries. This study is a systematic review of the scientific literature. The following databases were used: Virtual Health Library (VHL), PubMed and Science Direct to select the articles. The descriptors used were: teleodontology and covid 19, teleodontology and oral health and covid, telemonitoring and oral health and covid, telehealth and covid and oral health, teleconsultation and oral health and covid, technology and oral health and covid, teleodontology and covid, telemonitoring covid and oral health, teleconsultation and covid and oral health, telehealth and covid and oral health. The selected studies showed that teledentistry was used in diferente countries during the pandemic to perform telemonitoring, telescreening, teleguidance of dentoalveolar and maxillofacial surgery patients, elderly people with Parkinson's disease, patients undergoing orthodontic treatment, children of preschool age and for continuing education , among other applications. This strategy can continue to be used in the post-pandemic period, being important to complement face-to-face assistance.
