Cartas históricas escritas por mulheres do Alto Sertão da Bahia (1901-1950): o gênero epistolar como potencial pedagógico

| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho objetivou discutir, através de cartas históricas de mulheres do Alto Sertão da Bahia, este gênero epistolar, a carta, como potencial pedagógico em desenvolvimento da leitura e da escrita e em inclusão de novos formatos e meios tecnológicos. Surgiu esta proposta do contato com práticas educativas diferentes: de um lado o conhecimento, no âmbito histórico pelo uso da escrita epistolar por mulheres no Alto Sertão da Bahia; na contemporaneidade, a constatação da preferência do alunado pelo uso de ferramentas tecnológicas em ambientes educacionais. Então, questionamos: por que não aproximar essa discussão? Neste aspecto, buscamos um aporte teórico que se fundamenta nos estudos de Chartier (1991), Marques (2021), evidenciando a importância cultural e histórica do uso da escrita epistolar. Com os estudos de Kabatek (2012) discutimos o uso da carta, gênero textual, para novos formatos e meios tecnológicos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo, com abordagem exploratória e documental, destacando (três) correspondências, como fontes, que serviram de parâmetro pela integração às discussões com as ferramentas tecnológicas disponíveis na web 3.0. Sobre as autoras das cartas, uma, Anna Spínola Teixeira, a mãe (1864 - 1944), as outras, três das suas filhas: Celsina S. Teixeira (1887-1979), Hersília S. Teixeira (1891-1968) e Leontina S. Teixeira (1896-1978). Sobre considerações finais, registramos o potencial pedagógico de cartas históricas em incentivo ao desenvolvimento de habilidades de leitura, de escrita e de criação de novas práticas educativas, considerando o gênero epistolar, carta, em possibilidade de uso atual para fins de discussão do conhecimento, integração com ferramentas tecnológicas e pela ampliação de base teórica em temas como história, cultura e educação, dentre tantos outros. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This work aimed to discuss, through historical letters from women in the Alto Sertão region of Bahia, this epistolary genre, the letter, as a pedagogical tool for developing reading and writing skills and for incorporating new formats and technological means. This proposal arose from contact with different educational practices: on the one hand, the historical knowledge of the use of epistolary writing by women in the Alto Sertão region of Bahia; on the other hand, the contemporary observation of students' preference for using technological tools in educational environments. Therefore, we questioned: why not bring this discussion closer together? In this respect, we sought a theoretical framework based on the studies of Chartier (1991) and Marques (2021), highlighting the cultural and historical importance of the use of epistolary writing. Using the studies of Kabatek (2012), we discussed the use of the letter, as a textual genre, for new formats and technological means. This is a qualitative research study, with an exploratory and documentary approach, highlighting three letters as sources that served as parameters for integration into discussions with the technological tools available on Web 3.0. Regarding the authors of the letters, one was Anna Spínola Teixeira, the mother (1864-1944), and the others were three of her daughters: Celsina S. Teixeira (1887-1979), Hersília S. Teixeira (1891-1968), and Leontina S. Teixeira (1896-1978). In conclusion, we note the pedagogical potential of historical letters in encouraging the development of reading and writing skills and the creation of new educational practices, considering the epistolary genre, the letter, in its current potential for use in discussing knowledge, integrating with technological tools, and expanding the theoretical basis in themes such as history, culture, and education, among many others. | |
