dc.description.abstractO presente artigo busca apresentar como o processo de transferência da feira livre de Ipirá-Bahia implicou consideravelmente na sustentabilidade dos feirantes ipiraenses, em que ao vivenciarem uma mudança do centro da cidade para um espaço isolado e distante, se encontraram numa realidade desafiadora tanto no que diz respeito ao alocamento realizado, quanto nas condições precárias em que enfrentaram no novo local. Dessa forma, o recorte temporal analisado compreende o ano de 2005, período que antecede a mudança da feira livre, sendo concluída em 2012 com o término das obras no Centro de Abastecimento. A pesquisa se debruça em torno da importância social, cultural e econômica estabelecidas no espaço da feira livre, ressaltando as trocas vivenciadas entre rural e urbano desde aos produtos artesanais e mercadorias comercializadas, como a rede de solidariedades, laços identitários e de pertencimento, bem como os conflitos protagonizados durante esse processo.
dc.description.abstract2This article seeks to present how the process of transferring the Ipirá-Bahia street market had a considerable impact on the sustainability of Ipirá's street vendors, in which, when experiencing a change from the city center to an isolated and distant space, they found themselves in a challenging reality both in terms of concerns the allocation carried out, as well as the precarious conditions they faced in the new location.Thus, the time frame analyzed covers the year 2005, the period that precedes the change of the street market, being concluded in 2012 with the end of works at the Supply Center.The research focuses on the social, cultural and economic importance established in the free market space, highlighting the exchanges experienced between rural and urban areas, from artisanal products and commercialized goods, such as the network of solidarity, ties of identity and belonging, as well as the conflicts that took place during this process.
