| dc.description.abstract | Refletir sobre as questões referentes ao campo educacional é uma tarefa difícil, na qual devem-se quebrar paradigmas, transpondo o espaço da escola para além da sala de aula, não se restringindo mais aos processos de ensino-aprendizagem no interior das unidades escolares formais, procurando alternativas que incorporem oportunidades mais efetivas de mudanças, de transformação social, de esperanças que venham para o benefício da população. Nesse sentido, o diálogo entre educação e desenvolvimento humano torna-se necessário e promissor. Se o limite para o sonho presente é não ter limite, deve-se aprender constantemente a aprender, a fim de acompanhar a voragem pós-moderna sem ser superado por ela. Será indispensável, mais que nunca, incentivar e provocar no homem estímulo à renovação constante e acelerada, à participação, à mudança social, à solidariedade, sem a perda do equilíbrio, da razão e da sua essência humana. Será, portanto, na relação educação-comunidade-gestão-desenvolvimento que se irá abastecer para enfrentar os desafios atuais e futuros. Assim, neste trabalho busca-se analisar como a educação não-formal, representada pelas práticas socioeducativas e culturais nas escolas do Beco da Cultura, no Nordeste de Amaralina, no contexto da cidade de Salvador, está contribuindo para dotar a população de um maior desenvolvimento humano. Na execução deste trabalho foi tomado como enfoque metodológico o estudo de caso, típico ou representativo, uma análise qualitativa. Como técnicas de coletas de dados foram utilizados documentos censitários, estatísticos oficiais e bibliográficos de diferentes fontes e acervos sobre o tema, além da observação direta, do diário de campo, da entrevista semi-estruturada, do grupo focal e da conversa informal. Mediante dados analisados, verificou-se ser possível conjugar os objetivos da educação representadas pelas práticas sócio-educativas e culturais num espaço institucional, a escola, transformando-a em um novo modelo, mais próximo da realidade dos atores que dela fazem parte, alargando o horizonte das suas escolhas, ampliando suas oportunidades e capacidades, promovendo o enriquecimento das vidas humanas. Ao estarem no turno oposto ao da escola participando das práticas, os educandos acreditam na capacidade da instituição social em alterar o curso de suas vidas, afastando-os da ociosidade, da convivência com a marginalidade, da exposição à violência, dos graves problemas sociais que afligem a comunidade | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | It is a difficult task to reflect on the issues regarding the educational field, in which we should break paradigms, transposing the space of the school to beyond the classroom, not restricting oneself to the processes of learning and teaching anymore inside the formal school units, seeking alternatives that incorporate more effective opportunities of change, of social transformation, of hopes that appear to the benefit of the population. In this sense the dialogue between education and human development becomes necessary and promising. If the limit for the present dream is not to have a limit, we should constantly learn how to learn, in order to accompany the post-modern abyss without being overcome by it. It will be indispensable, more than ever, to motivate and to provoke in man the incentive to the constant and accelerated renewal, to participation, to social change, to solidarity, without loss of balance, reason and of its human essence. It will be, therefore, in the relationship education-community-administration-development that we will supply ourselves to face the current and future challenges. Thus, in this work, we tried to analyze how education, represented by the social, educational and cultural practices in the schools of Beco da Cultura (Culture Alley), in the Nordeste de Amaralina neighborhood in the city of Salvador are contributing to endow the population with greater human development. In the execution of this work the methodological focus taken was the study of a typical or representative case, a qualitative analysis. As a technique of data collection census documents, official statistics and bibliographical data were used, from different sources and collections on the theme, besides direct observation, of the field diary, of the semi-structured interview, of the focal group and of the informal conversation. Through data analysis, we proved being able to conjugate the objectives of the education represented by cultural, social and educational practices in an institutional space, the school, transforming it in a new model, closer to the reality of the actors that are part of it, opening the horizon of their choices, increasing their opportunities and skill, promoting the enrichment of human lives. As they are in the school in the opposite shift of the school formal classes participating in the practices, the students believe in the ability of the social institution to alter the course of their lives, staying away from idleness, from the coexistence with delinquency, from exposure to violence, from serious social problems that afflict their community. | |
