dc.description.abstractEste estudo teve como objeto a importância dos aspectos educacionais para a realização do exame preventivo do câncer do colo de útero, cujo objetivo principal foi analisar o conhecimento de mulheres a respeito do exame preventivo do câncer do colo de útero, por elas realizado. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, de natureza qualitativa, e delineamento do tipo estudo de caso, que utilizou para a análise o discurso do sujeito coletivo. A amostra foi constituída por 16 usuárias de uma área coberta pelo PSF na cidade de Salvador – Bahia. A coleta de dados foi realizada através de entrevistas gravadas que consistiram em perguntas que contemplavam os objetivos do estudo. As falas das mulheres entrevistadas foram transcritas fielmente e analisadas de forma relacional, articuladas ao referencial teórico. Com os resultados obtidos pode-se observar que ficou claro que as mulheres desta amostra na sua maioria apesar do baixo nível de escolaridade realizam o exame preventivo do câncer do colo de útero sem, no entanto, compreender o objetivo deste exame e aquelas não realizam com freqüência o exame não sabem para que serve, além disso a pesquisa revela que as informações que as mulheres deste grupo detêm na maior parte são provenientes de outros tipos de fontes que não atividades educativas realizadas no PSF onde foi realizada a pesquisa. As informações obtidas levaram a uma reflexão da necessidade de se educar a população para a compreensão da importância de realizar o exame papanicolau de forma que torne o indivíduo responsável e ativo no seu processo de saúde e doença, para isso é necessário antes de tudo alertar e treinar os profissionais de saúde para a importância de realizar atividades educativas em âmbito da Estratégia de Saúde da Família -PSF.
dc.description.abstract2This study was a subject the importance of the educational aspects for the creation of preventive examination of colorectal cancer of uterus, whose main objective was to analyze the knowledge of women regarding the examination of the preventive of colorectal cancer of uterus, which they accomplished. This is a descriptive study of a qualitative nature, the type and design case study, which used to analyze the speech of the collective subject. The sample was composed by 16 users of an area covered by the PSF in the city of Salvador-Bahia. The collection of data was carried out through interviews that were recorded up questions that the objectives of the study. The speeches of the women interviewed were faithfully transcribed and analyzed in a relational, articulated the benchmark theoretical. With the results can be observed that it was clear that women in this sample for the most despite the low level of schooling perform the examination prevention of colorectal cancer of the uterus without, however understand the purpose of this examination and not those held frequently the examination do not know to what use, the survey also shows that the information that women of this group have mostly come from other sources than the PSF in question through educational activities. Information obtained led to a discussion of the need to educate the people to understand the importance of taking the exam papanicolau a way that makes the individual responsible and active in the process of health and disease, so it is necessary first of all warn and the training of health professionals to the importance of carrying out educational activities in connection with Program of the Family Health-PSF.
