dc.description.abstractEste estudo teve por objetivo analisar e refletir sobre o caráter lúdico e educativo do jogo de xadrez praticado há dois anos na Escola Municipal Maria Regina, Cidade de Guanambi, Bahia. Nota-se que essa ferramenta possibilita estudos de diversas variáveis, porém o foco será direcionado para: a contribuição do xadrez para o ensino-aprendizagem da matemática e o processo de socialização dos alunos, observado sob a luz da teoria das inteligências múltiplas, propostas por Gardner, com considerações relevantes proferidas por Jean Piaget, Friedrich Froebel, Rousseau, Celso Antunes e outros. Verifica-se ainda que a tentativa dessa escola ao implantar o jogo de xadrez, como atividade extracurricular, acoplada às aulas de Educação Física, foi de proporcionar um ambiente escolar mais agradável, alegre e que despertasse nos alunos o prazer de aprender e participar das atividades desenvolvidas pelo educandário, além de proporcionar uma melhoria na qualidade do ensino-aprendizagem. A utilização do jogo de xadrez como instrumento pedagógico coadjuvante ao ensino regular possibilita aos alunos criar conveniências para o desenvolvimento interpessoal, moral e intelectual, garantindo assim uma consciência cidadã. Propõe-se também, momentos de reflexão sobre a prática pedagógica em sala de aula com a utilização do lúdico, ofertando as suas possíveis contribuição ao processo de ensino-aprendizagem e à socialização dos alunos.
dc.description.abstract2This study had for objective to analyze and to contemplate on the character lúdico and educational of the chess game practiced two years ago in the Municipal School Maria Regina, City of Guanambi, State of Bahia. It is noticed that that tool makes possible studies of several variables, however the focus will be addressed for: the contribution of the chess for the teaching-learning of the mathematics and to the process of the students' socialização, observed under the light of the theory of the multiple intelligences, proposed by Gardner, with important considerations uttered by Jean Piaget, Friedrich Froebel, Rousseau, Celso Antunes and other. It is verified although the attempt of that school when implanting the chess game, as activity extracurricular, coupled to the physical education classes, it was of providing a more pleasant, cheerful school atmosphere and that woke up in the students the pleasure to learn and to participate in the activities developed by the school, besides providing an improvement in the quality of the teaching-learning. The use of the chess game as coadjutant pedagogic instrument to the regular teaching makes possible the students to create 24 conveniences for the development interpessoal, morals and intellectual, guaranteeing like this a conscience citizen. He/she/you also intends, moments of reflection on the pedagogic practice in class room with the use of the lúdico, presenting them your possible contribution to the teaching-learning process and the students' socialização.
