dc.description.abstractA presente dissertação, de viés bibliográfico, visa analisar no livro Leite do Peito: Contos (2001), de Geni Guimarães, como pela ótica da infância são construídas as identidades negras apresentadas nos contos memorialísticos e ficcionalizados do mencionado livro. O intuito do estudo é problematizar, como modo curativo para o trauma com o racismo, o processo de emudecimento da escrita de mulheres negras, historicamente silenciadas pela teoria e crítica literárias brasileiras e ressaltar a produção deste segmento com foco na escrita autoral de Geni Guimarães, na tessitura do livro Leite do Peito: Contos (2001). Para tanto, objetiva-se investigar a trajetória do apagamento do personagem negro no romance brasileiro até o solo fértil da tradição negro-feminina, em especial, a produção de Maria Firmina dos Reis, Carolina de Jesus e Geni Guimarães; identificar na voz autoral geniniana, o entrelaçamento-roda entre negritude, memórias, identidades e cosmovisão africana, presentes nas escritas em prosa e poesia e o processo de enegrecimento e militância literária presentes nos escritos de Geni; relacionar a construção das identidades a comunhão familiar a partir das categorias: maternidade, paternidade e fraternidade no contexto do livro Leite do Peito e, por fim, analisar, dentro do simbolismo da árvore sagrada, a construção identitária que constitui a menina negra em seu processo de amadurecer e resplandecer. Elabora-se neste estudo, a memória como elemento essencial de construção de signos e desconstrução de discursos opressores, ressaltando-se o teor ficcional das tessituras do livro: Leite do Peito: Contos (2001), ao trazer a ótica da infância negra como norteador das vivências, amores, dores, saberes, culturas, fé e narrativas de todo uma comunidade negra no pós-abolição a partir da força vocal oriunda da personagem-narradora, ao evocar demandas políticas, socioculturais e históricas de sociedades marginalizadas e invisibilizadas na historiografia brasileira, combatendo estereótipos e destacando as experiências do Outro, representado pela coletividade descendente de africanos em uma escrita feminina negro-brasileira, identitária e centralizada na figura da menina negra.
dc.description.abstract2The present dissertation, from a bibliographical point of view, aims to analyze in the book Leite do Peito: Contos (2001), by Geni Guimarães, how, from the perspective of childhood, the black identities presented in the memorialistic and fictionalized tales of the mentioned book are constructed. The purpose of the study is to problematize, as a curative way for trauma with racism, the process of muting the writing of black women, historically silenced by Brazilian literary theory and criticism, and to highlight the production of this segment with a focus on the authorial writing of Geni Guimarães, in the texture of the book Leite do Peito: Contos (2001). Therefore, the objective is to investigate the trajectory of the erasure of the black character in the Brazilian novel to the fertile soil of the black-female tradition, in particular, the production of Maria Firmina dos Reis, Carolina de Jesus and Geni Guimarães; to identify in Genin's authorial voice, the intertwining-wheel between blackness, memories, identities and African cosmovision, present in prose and poetry writings and the process of blackening and literary militancy present in Geni's writings; relate the construction of identities to family communion from the categories: maternity, paternity and fraternity in the context of the book Leite do Peito and, finally, to analyze, within the symbolism of the sacred tree, the identity construction that constitutes the black girl in her process to mature and shine. In this study, memory is elaborated as an essential element in the construction of signs and deconstruction of oppressive discourses, emphasizing the fictional content of the textures of the book: Leite do Peito: Contos (2001), by bringing the perspective of black childhood as a guide of the experiences, loves, pains, knowledge, cultures, faith and narratives of an entire black community in the post-abolition period, based on the vocal strength derived from the character-narrator, by evoking political, sociocultural and historical demands of marginalized and invisible societies in Brazilian historiography , combating stereotypes and highlighting the experiences of the Other, represented by the community of African descent in a black-Brazilian female writing, identity and centered on the figure of the black girl.
