| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho faz um estudo sobre a Tradução Audiovisual no Brasil, tendo como foco principal a tradução de filmes estrangeiros para a exibição no cinema nacional. Tem como objetivo trazer ao público, em geral, o conhecimento sobre as formas empregadas pelas empresas que realizam tal procedimento, bem como algumas das técnicas e estratégias utilizadas para a realização da dublagem e da legendagem de filmes, com o intuito de obter um texto fiel e ao mesmo tempo condizente com a língua e a cultura-alvo. Utiliza como base para o estudo o filme “The Pursuit of Happyness”, do diretor italiano Gabriele Muccino, conhecido no Brasil pelo nome “À procura da felicidade”, que teve sua versão brasileira realizada pela Herbert Richers S.A. do Brasil. No desenvolvimento do trabalho são mostrados alguns aspectos relacionados à linguagem cinematográfica, a legendagem, a dublagem, as estratégias da tradução, e as expectativas sobre o futuro da tradução, considerando as mudanças que ocorreram ao longo desses anos. Apresenta também uma análise da tradução feita no filme mencionado, onde se pode acompanhar as expressões e trechos da fala original, dublada e legendada, além de avaliar os critérios utilizados pelo tradutor. A análise será feita através de fragmentos retirados do próprio filme no idioma de origem, com o intuito de compará-los com a língua do país de chegada, no nosso caso, o português brasileiro. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This paper makes a study on Audiovisual Translation in Brazil, focusing mainly on the translation of foreign movies for exhibition on national cinema, with the goal of bringing to the public, in general, knowledge about the ways employed by companies that conduct this procedure, as well as some of the techniques and strategies used to perform the dubbing and subtitling of films, to get a faithful text while consistent with the language and target culture. Use as a basis for the study, the film "The Pursuit of Happyness", by the Italian director Gabriele Muccino, known in Brazil by the name "À procura da felicidade" which had its Brazilian version made by Herbert Richers S.A. of Brazil. In development of this work are shown some aspects related to film language, subtitling, dubbing, translation strategies, and expectations about the future of translation, considering the changes that have occurred over the years; also presents an analysis of the translation made in the aforementioned movie, where you can track the expressions and periods of the original speech, dubbed and subtitled, besides the evaluation of the criteria used by the translator. The analyses will be done through fragments taken from the film itself on the original language, in order to compare them with the language of the arrival country, in our case, the Brazilian Portuguese. | |
