dc.description.abstractO presente trabalho tem como tema a representação das relações de gênero no romance Beije me onde o sol não alcança de Mary Del Priore. Apresentando como problema, quais as aproximações e distanciamentos existentes na relação Literatura e História na obra citada, além de também analisar como a autora representa as relações de gênero. A partir de tais problemas, realizo, no primeiro capítulo, uma análise sobre a relação que Del Priore, enquanto historiadora e escritora, a partir dos movimentos historiográficos dos finais do século XX e início do século XXI, se aproxima de temas como história das mulheres, relações de gênero, amor, sexualidade, vida privada, etc; construindo assim um diálogo com a Literatura e a História. Além disso, analiso também quais aspectos presentes no romance o caracterizam como sendo um romance histórico e epistolar, questionando o que há de ficção e de História, a partir do conceito de representação de Roger Chartier (1990), identificando como a autora aproxima e distancia esses dois campos do saber. No segundo capítulo, é feita uma análise que se divide em dois tópicos: no primeiro é analisado como a autora por meio dos personagens Nicota e Maurice representa as relações de gênero e como ela constrói tais representações; no segundo, analiso como, a partir das personagens Regina e Maria Gata, a romancista representa o papel das mulheres negras escravas e libertas no final do século XIX no Rio de Janeiro. Em síntese, destaco que que a autora utiliza o conceito de gênero de Joan Scott para representar as relações de gênero no romance e que tece um constante diálogo entre a Literatura e a História a partir das fontes. Por fim, aponto novas perspectivas de pesquisa a partir das lacunas que não puderam ser analisadas com maior profundidade.
dc.description.abstract2The present work has as its theme the representation of gender relations in the novel Kiss me where the sun does not reach from Mary Del Priore. Presenting as a problem, the approximations and distances existing in the relationship Literature and History in the work cited, as well as analyze how the author represents gender relations. From these problems, in the first chapter I analyze the relationship that Del Priore, as historian and writer, from the historiographic movements of the late twentieth and early twenty-first century, approaches themes such as women's history , gender relations, love, sexuality, private life, etc; thus building a dialogue with Literature and History. In addition, I also analyze which aspects present in the novel characterize it as a historical and epistolary novel, questioning what is fiction and history, from the concept of representation of Roger Chartier (1990), identifying how the author approaches and distance these two fields of knowledge. In the second chapter, an analysis is made that is divided into two topics: the first is analyzed as the author through the characters Nicota and Maurice represents the gender relations and how it constructs such representations. In the second, I analyze how, from the characters Regina and Maria Gata, the novelist represents the role of black women slaves and liberates in the late nineteenth century in Rio de Janeiro. In summary, I point out that the author uses the concept of genre by Joan Scott to represent the gender relations in the novel and that weaves a constant dialogue between Literature and History from the sources. Finally, I point out new research perspectives from the gaps that could not be analyzed in greater depth. Keywords: gender relations, representation, History and Literature.
