| dc.description.abstract | Esta pesquisa investiga as manifestações de fé na cidade de Jacobina, Bahia, a partir dos olhares fotográficos de Osmar Micucci e Lidenício Ribeiro, nas décadas de 1950 e 1980. Para a realização do estudo, foram utilizados arquivos fotográficos presentes no Núcleo de Estudos de Cultura e Cidade (NECC/UNEB) e entrevista com o fotógrafo Lidenício Ribeiro. As imagens constituem a principal fonte de investigação, analisadas sob a perspectiva da metodologia interpretativa e comparativa. A partir desse material, foi possível observar uma ampla gama de manifestações de fé em Jacobina, elucidando o papel fundamental que a religiosidade desempenhava na vivência cotidiana dos indivíduos da região. O percurso das fotografias enquanto objetos materializados constituiu um dos pilares desta pesquisa, buscando uma análise mais sensível e aprofundada. Para a compreensão geral dos usos e funções da fotografia no período estudado, foram fundamentais as contribuições teóricas de Valter de Oliveira (2007), Walter Benjamin (2009), Boris Kossoy (1999), entre outros. Por fim, esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida com a intenção de contribuir para os estudos sobre as manifestações de fé no sertão de Jacobina. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This research investigates manifestations of faith in the city of Jacobina, Bahia, through the photographic perspectives of Osmar Micucci and Lidenício Ribeiro, from the 1950s to the 1980s. The study used photographic archives held at the Center for Culture and City Studies (NECC/UNEB) and an interview with photographer Lidenício Ribeiro. The images constitute the main source of research, analyzed from the perspective of interpretative and comparative methodology. From this material, it was possible to observe a wide range of manifestations of faith in Jacobina, elucidating the fundamental role that religiosity played in the daily lives of individuals in the region. The trajectory of photographs as materialized objects constituted one of the pillars of this research, seeking a more sensitive and in-depth analysis. The theoretical contributions of Valter de Oliveira (2007), Walter Benjamin (2009), Boris Kossoy (1999), among others, were fundamental to a general understanding of the uses and functions of photography in the period studied. Finally, this research was developed with the intention of contributing to studies on manifestations of faith in the backlands of Jacobina.
