A dimensão educativa do trabalho de babás: construção da personalidade moral em crianças de zero a três anos

| dc.description.abstract | Esta dissertação tem como foco principal a dimensão educativa da atuação da trabalhadora doméstica, denominada babá, e sua relação com a construção da personalidade moral em crianças de zero a três anos, sem perder de vista a realidade sócio-histórica que atravessa a subjetividade e o desenvolvimento da mesma. O objetivo geral foi analisar os processos educativos e os valores presentes no trabalho de babás em suas dimensões do cuidar e do educar. Com este propósito, buscamos analisar o papel da babá na formação moral de crianças de zero a três anos; identificar os aspectos ligados a função do educar e do cuidar presentes na atuação da babá; analisar os valores da auto-estima e autonomia presentes em seu trabalho; além de contribuir na discussão sobre a sistematização, legitimação e formação desta atividade laboral. As bases epistemológicas deste trabalho encontram-se na teoria de Joseph Puig sobre a construção da personalidade moral, na abordagem de Lev Vigotski sobre o desenvolvimento e aprendizagem e na teoria moral de Jean Piaget. Através da articulação desses arcabouços teóricos, observamos que a construção da personalidade moral se inicia nos primeiros anos de vida da criança e depende da qualidade da interação e dos cuidados dispensados à mesma. Neste sentido, a intersubjetividade que pode ser construída na relação entre criança e sua babá como forma de experiência moral, pode ser importante para a construção da personalidade moral da criança. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, já que o tema escolhido abre um leque de possibilidades de estudo e existe pouco conhecimento sistematizado sobre o mesmo. As categorias de análise foram as funções do cuidar e do educar que aparecem na educação infantil como indissociáveis. Essas funções foram articuladas com as atividades das babás, com os valores selecionados da autonomia e autoestima e com ações requeridas para desenvolvimento da prática e da consciência de regras em crianças pequenas: promover noção de regularidade, proporcionar o brincar espontâneo e estabelecer intercambio verbal com a criança. O trabalho de campo foi realizado em uma empresa especializada na seleção, formação e contratação de babás, única no ramo em Salvador, na época da realização desta pesquisa. O universo da pesquisa foi composto por uma das sócias da empresa participante e sete candidatas a posição de babá. Dois instrumentos foram utilizados para o levantamento de dados: entrevistas semi-estuturadas e apresentação de situações-problema. A partir da articulação entre os aportes teóricos e a realidade pesquisada, concluímos que a dimensão educativa do trabalho de babás pode ser desenvolvida desde que envolva, não apenas, o processo de formação, mas também mudanças nas características sócio-econômicas estruturais desta atividade. Na Região Metropolitana de Salvador, se faz necessário um processo de transformação da realidade do trabalho precário e não reconhecido das babás a fim de gerar uma ocupação sistematizada e legalizada que possa englobar as funções de cuidar e educar crianças. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This research has as main focus the educative dimension of the performance of the domestic worker, called baby sitter and its relation with the construction of the moral personality little children, without losing of sight the partner-historical reality that crosses the subjectivity and the performance of the same one. The general objective of this research was to analyze the educative processes and the values gifts in the baby sitter work in its dimensions of taking care of and educating. With this intention, we search to analyze the paper of the baby sitter in the moral formation of little children; to identify to on aspects the function of educating and taking care of gifts in the performance of the baby sitter; to identify and to analyze the values more gifts in the processes to take care of and to educate; beyond contributing in the quarrel on the systematization, legitimation and formation for the activity of baby sitter. The theories of this work meet in the theory of Joseph Puig on the construction of the moral personality, in the theory of Lev Vigotski on the development and learning and in the moral theory of Jean Piaget. Through the joint of these theories we observe that the construction of the moral personality if initiates in the first years of life of the child and depends on the quality of the interaction and the cares excused to the same one. In this direction, the intersubjetividade that can be constructed in the relation between the child and its baby sitter, as form of moral experience, can be important for construction of the moral personality of the child. One is about a study, since the chosen subject opened a great fan of study possibilities and exists little knowledge systemize on the same. The categories of analysis had been to the functions to take care of and to educate that they appear in the infantile education. These functions had been articulated with the activities of baby sitter, with the selected values of the autonomy and of auto-they esteem and with actions required for development of the practical one and the conscience of rules in small children: to promote regularity notion, to provide spontaneous playing and to establish verbal interchange with the child. The field work was carried through in a company specialized in the election, formation and act of contract of baby sitter, only in the branch in Salvador, at the time of the accomplishment of this research. The universe of the research was composed for one of the partners of the participant Company and seven candidates the baby sitter position. Two instruments had been used for the datacollecting : half-structuralized interviews and presentation of situation-problem. To leave of the joint between them you arrive in port theoretical and the searched reality, we conclude that the educative dimension of the baby sitter work can be developed since that it involves, not only, the formation process, but also changes in the structural partnereconomic characteristics of this activity. In the Region Metropolitan of Salvador, if it makes necessary a process of transformation of the reality of the precarious and not recognized work of baby sitter in order to generate a systemize and legalized occupation that can take the functions to take care of and to educate children. | |
