dc.description.abstractEsta pesquisa apresenta o estudo sobre a relação da Escola Everaldo Bacelar com a Loja Maçônica Deus, Justiça e fraternidade, responsável por sua fundação no ano de 1958, em parceria com o governo do estado. Busca compreender o envolvimento da Maçonaria com a educação e analisar seu compromisso com a instrução pública no município itaberabense ao longo da década de 1950 até a década de 1970, quando houve um período de crise na escola, a partir das dificuldades manifestadas pela Loja em manter a instituição e cumprir sua parte no convênio estabelecido. Utiliza como principais fontes documentais correspondências e registros escolares provenientes do arquivo interno da escola, ofícios do Arquivo Público Municipal, atas da Câmara Municipal de Itaberaba e Fontes jornalísticas locais.
dc.description.abstract2This research presents a study on the relationship between the Everaldo Bacelar School and the Masonic Lodge Deus, Justiça e Fraternidade (God, Justice and Fraternity), responsible for its founding in 1958, in partnership with the state government. It seeks to understand the involvement of Freemasonry with education and analyze its commitment to public instruction in the municipality of Itaberaba throughout the 1950s until the 1970s, when the school experienced a period of crisis due to difficulties the Lodge faced in maintaining the institution and fulfilling its part of the established agreement. The main documentary sources used are correspondence and school records from the school's internal archive, official documents from the Municipal Public Archive, minutes of the Itaberaba City Council, and local journalistic sources.
