dc.description.abstractO objetivo central deste trabalho é (des)construir a mulher negra enquanto desafio de ser mulher, conceituando-a sob a ótica histórico-cultural e social, como também do estudo comparativo literário. A partir do tema: A (des)construção da mulher negra: os desafios de ser mulher nas obras Meio Sol Amarelo, de Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie e Ventos do Apocalipse, de Paulina Chiziane, discute-se a trajetória de mulheres africanas dentro de dois contextos históricos ocorridos em solo africano: as guerras na Nigéria (1969-1970) e em Moçambique(1977-1992), respectivamente. Foi necessário, para tão grande desafio, compreender tanto a atuação das mulheres durante a colonização como também suas lutas em prol da liberdade de seus países. Dentro da análise do que foi o processo colonial para as mulheres, destacaram-se a violência sofrida e o silenciamento de suas vozes. Nas cenas bélicas apresentadas pelas escritoras nas suas narrativas, a contextualização histórica das referidas guerras ganha contornos diferentes, posicionando a mulher na centralização dos acontecimentos; prefigurando-as como heroínas do seu povo e desmistificando a história única, a história europeizada que camufla a verdadeira identidade da mulher negra africana. Com isso, a relevância do presente trabalho parte do pressuposto de que as narrativas das escritoras africanas precisam ser inseridas ou firmadas nos programas de pós-graduação e demais áreas de pesquisas nas universidades, começando por sua inserção nas aulas sobre as Literaturas Africanas, pelo fato de essas narrativas contemplarem a atuação das mulheres nos cenários mais dramáticos da história da África. A partir de uma pesquisa metodológica voltada para a análise bibliográfica, pode-se destacar os posicionamentos dos seguintes teóricos: José Luís Cabaço (2007), Kwame Appiah (1997), Izabel Casimiro (2004), Frantz Fanon (2005), Gayatri Spivak (2010), Virginia Woolf (1928; 1984; 2015;), Inocência Mata (2007), Lúcia Helena Vianna (2003), Jacimara Santana (2009), Laura Cavalcante Padilha (2013), Thomas Bonnici (2007), Frederick Forsyth (1969) entre outros.
dc.description.abstract2The main objective of this work is to (de)construct the black woman as a challenge of being a woman, conceptualizing her from a historical-cultural and social perspective, as well as from a comparative literary study. Based on the theme: The (de)construction of the black woman: the challenges of being a woman in the works Half of a Yellow Sun, by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Winds of the Apocalypse, by Paulina Chiziane, the trajectory of African women is discussed within two historical contexts that occurred on African soil: the wars in Nigeria (1969-1970) and in Mozambique (1977-1992), respectively. It was necessary, for such a great challenge, to understand both the role of women during colonization and their struggles for the freedom of their countries. Within the analysis of what the colonial process was for women, the violence suffered and the silencing of their voices stood out. In the war scenes presented by female writers in their narratives, the historical contextualization of these wars takes on different contours, placing women at the center of events; prefiguring them as heroines of their people and demystifying the single history, the Europeanized history that camouflages the true identity of the black African woman. Therefore, the relevance of this work is based on the assumption that the narratives of African female writers need to be included or established in postgraduate programs and other areas of research at universities, starting with their inclusion in classes on African Literature, due to the fact that these narratives contemplate the role of women in the most dramatic scenarios in African history.
