dc.description.abstractO presente estudo tem como objeto de investigação a produção científica sobre síndrome de Burnout em docentes universitários. A metodologia utilizada na pesquisa é o estudo de revisão de literatura, tipo revisão integrativa. A base de dados utilizada foi o google acadêmico, com recorte temporal entre 2016 a 2021. Foram utilizados os seguintes descritores de busca: “síndrome de burnout” e “docentes universitários”. Como critério de inclusão e exclusão dos artigos na base de dados foram selecionados os textos em língua portuguesa e que as pesquisas empíricas e ou teóricas discutem a realidade dos professores universitários no Brasil. Inicialmente foram encontrados 35 artigos e feita a leitura exploratória dos resumos e aplicados os critérios de inclusão e exclusão foram selecionados 15 estudos. Sendo assim, foram excluídos da base de dados analisada os artigos que tratavam de outras etapas e modalidades da educação, e ainda aqueles que investigaram outras realidades que não a do Brasil. A pesquisa teve como principal instrumento para coleta de dados, os artigos que falam sobre a síndrome de burnout em docentes, então diante deste contexto, conclui-se que os artigos observados revelam que os impactos da síndrome de burnout causado nos docentes, estão relacionados ao estresse no ambiente de trabalho e que os docentes se formam uma classe favorável e suscetível a síndrome de burnout. Analisou-se em dois capítulos, o primeiro irá definir os aspectos históricos, características e dimensões da Síndrome de Burnout, enquanto o segundo capítulo abordará o estresse educacional e as consequências do Burnout nos docentes universitários.
dc.description.abstract2The present study has as its object of investigation the scientific production on Burnout syndrome in university professors. The methodology used in the research is the study of literature review, integrative review type. The general objective of this work was to investigate through the literature in the area of education and health what studies involving research on Burnout syndrome in university professors reveal. The following search descriptors were used: “burnout syndrome” and “university professors”. As a criterion for inclusion and exclusion of articles in the database, texts in Portuguese were selected and that empirical and/or theoretical research discusses the reality of university professors in Brazil. Initially, 35 articles were found and an exploratory reading of the abstracts was carried out and the inclusion and exclusion criteria applied, 15 studies were selected. Therefore, articles that dealt with other stages and modalities of education, as well as those that investigated realities other than Brazil, were excluded from the analyzed database. The research had as main instrument for data collection, the articles that talk about the burnout syndrome in teachers, so in this context, it is concluded that the observed articles reveal that the impacts of the burnout syndrome caused in teachers are related to the stress in the work environment and that teachers form a favorable class and susceptible to burnout syndrome. It was analyzed in two chapters, the first will define the historical aspects, characteristics and dimensions of Burnout Syndrome, while the second chapter will address educational stress and the consequences of Burnout in university professors.
