| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo objetiva identificar e descrever a arte de rezar no município de Riachão do Jacuípe, interior do estado da Bahia, e analisar a representação das rezadeiras pela sociedade jacuipense, mostrando as conquistas e entraves encontrados por este grupo nas ultimas décadas entre o século XX e XXI. Utilizando-se da metodologia da historia oral, foram entrevistadas três rezadeiras sendo duas de bairros periféricos e uma da zona rural. Nenhuma outra fonte poderia ser melhor utilizada para representá-las visto que ao entrevistá las ficaram perceptíveis suas angústias e frustrações por suas rezas não terem recebido o reconhecimento enquanto manifestação cultural local. Ao aplicar um questionário com seis pessoas da comunidade quatro católicos e dois evangélicos foi possível configurar as relações que as rezadeiras exercem na sociedade jacuipense. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This article aims to identify and describe the art of prayer in the city of Riachão Jacuípe, state of Bahia, and to analyze the representation of the mourners‟ Jacuipense society, showing the achievements and the obstacles found by that group in recent decades between XX and XXI century. Using the methodology of the oral history, were interviewed three mourners, two of the suburbs and another in the countryside. No other source could be better used to represent them, one time that have interviewed them, is perceived their anguish and frustration because their prayers have not received the recognition like a local cultural event. Applying a questionnaire with six people in the community: four Catholics and two evangelicals, has possibility configured the relationships that the mourners Jacuipense has in that society. keywords: mourners, cultural representation, oral history. | |
