dc.description.abstractO presente estudo, de cunho qualitativo, tem o objetivo de analisar os impactos do ensino remoto no curso de Direito da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB) em Itaberaba/BA, durante a pandemia de COVID-19. A análise concentra-se nas turmas ingressantes nos semestres letivos de 2019.2 e 2021.2, inseridas respectivamente nos decimo e oitavo semestres no calendário letivo de 2025.1, período em que o estudo foi desenvolvido. A pesquisa aborda como ocorreu a transição abrupta para o ensino remoto emergencial, com intuito de analisar os desafios enfrentados por alunos e os seus impactos diante das mudanças no ensino jurídico, avaliando as medidas adotadas pelo curso de Direito do campus XIII para enfrentar a crise e a eficácia dessas estratégias. Neste cenário, entende-se viável um estudo problematizado sobre as percepções dos alunos afetados pelas mudanças repentinas trazidas com a pandemia e a nova realidade imposta, além de investigar o impacto na dinâmica de aprendizagem, a acessibilidade dos recursos digitais e a interação entre os discentes e professores, que se tornou mais dependente de ferramentas tecnológicas. A análise crítica da qualidade do ensino remoto é realizada com base em dados coletados por meio de questionário aplicado em sala de aula, em conjunto com a análise das falas em aula participativa destes alunos abordando a percepção dos colaboradores e contribuindo para o aprimoramento do ensino jurídico no futuro. A estrutura do texto segue os seguintes aspectos principais: a questão da crise no ensino jurídico, antecedente ao período pandêmico, e a sua constante negação, a implementação do curso de Direito e seus impactos no Campus XIII em Itaberaba/BA e o aprofundamento nos impactos e vivências dos alunos das turmas ingressantes nos semestres letivos de 2019.2 e 2021.2 do curso de Direito do Campus XIII perante o ensino remoto emergencial. Com isso, esta pesquisa busca contribuir para o debate sobre a qualidade do ensino jurídico em contextos adversos, evidenciando a necessidade de políticas educacionais mais adaptadas as realidades locais e mais inclusivas, além de oferecer contribuições para o aprimoramento das práticas pedagógicas no ensino superior, especialmente no curso de Direito.
dc.description.abstract2The present study, of a qualitative nature, aims to analyze the impacts of remote teaching in the Law course at the State University of Bahia (UNEB) in Itaberaba/BA, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis focuses on the cohorts that entered in the academic semesters 2019.2 and 2021.2, enrolled respectively in the tenth and eighth semesters in the 2025.1 academic calendar, the period during which the study was conducted. The research addresses how the abrupt transition to emergency remote teaching occurred, aiming to analyze the challenges faced by students and their impacts on changes in legal education, evaluating the measures adopted by the Law course at campus XIII to cope with the crisis and the effectiveness of these strategies. In this context, it is considered feasible to conduct a problematized study on the perceptions of students affected by the sudden changes brought about by the pandemic and the new imposed reality, as well as to investigate the impact on learning dynamics, the accessibility of digital resources, and the interaction between students and teachers, which has become more dependent on technological tools. The critical analysis of the quality of remote teaching is carried out based on data collected through a questionnaire applied in the classroom, together with the analysis of the statements made during participatory class sessions by these students, addressing the perception of the participants and contributing to the improvement of legal education in the future. The structure of the text follows the main aspects: the issue of the crisis in legal education, preceding the pandemic period, and its constant denial; the implementation of the Law course and its impacts on Campus XIII in Itaberaba/BA; and an in-depth look at the impacts and experiences of students from the cohorts entering in the 2019.2 and 2021.2 academic terms of the Law course at Campus XIII in the face of emergency remote teaching. Thus, this research aims to contribute to the debate on the quality of legal education in adverse contexts, highlighting the need for educational policies that are better adapted to local realities and more inclusive, as well as offering contributions to the improvement of pedagogical practices in higher education, especially in the Law course.
