dc.description.abstractEsta pesquisa buscou refletir a chegada dos primeiros efetivos femininos ao 16º Batalhão de Polícia Militar em Serrinha. Há 27 anos contamos com a presença feminina na Polícia Militar da Bahia, que ocorreu em 1991. A partir desse acontecimento em uma instituição historicamente masculina conhecer como as PFENS narram este processo. A partir dessa reflexão algumas questões foram levantadas: porque decidiu ser uma policial militar, dificuldades encontradas nos cursos e na carreira, como elas conciliam a vida doméstica e a vida militar, existe alguma atividade diferenciada por ser mulher, a presença da mulher trouxe alguma mudança no tratamento entre os militares. Para tanto foram realizadas entrevistas com mulheres que participaram das primeiras turmas de policias militares femininas que atuaram em Serrinha na primeira década do século XXI, e através de revisão bibliográfica envolvendo a temática do poder e relações de gênero possibilitou compreender a cultura organizacional da PM em Serrinha.
dc.description.abstract2This research sought to reflect the arrival of the first female employees to the 16th Military Police Battalion in Serrinha. For 27 years we have had the female presence in the Military Police of Bahia, which occurred in 1991. From of this event in a historically male institution to know how the PFENS narrate this process. Based on this reflection, some questions were raised: why did she decide to be a military police officer, difficulties found in courses and careers, how they balance home life and military life, is there any activity differentiated by being a woman, the presence of women brought some change in treatment among the military. Therefore interviews were carried out with women who participated in the first groups of female military police officers who worked in Serrinha in the first decade of the 21st century, and through a bibliographical review involving the theme of power and gender relations, it made it possible to understand the organizational culture of the PM in Serrinha.
