dc.description.abstractEste artigo analisa a greve dos operários da Dass de Itaberaba que ocorreu em 2013. Nossa proposta é, portanto, investigar e refletir sobre esse movimento liderado pelos operários, em conjunto com o Sindicato dos Trabalhadores do Setor de Calçados, na busca de direitos coletivos visando melhores condições de vida para os trabalhadores, como aumento salarial, cesta básica, participação nos lucros e auxílio transporte. Para alcançar essa análise, o percurso metodológico adotou uma abordagem exploratória, envolvendo entrevistas com alguns protagonistas da greve, consulta ao jornal digital Itaberaba Notícias, imagens, material institucional da empresa Dass e bibliografia especializada. Através dessa pesquisa e da observação da ação dos operários, que unidos foram capazes de lutar por seus direitos, utilizando uma estratégia coletiva para “parar” a Dass como forma de pressionar seus empregadores a implementar melhores condições para toda categoria, pretendemos esclarecer os motivos que levaram à greve e, consequentemente, como ela ocorreu, além dos resultados alcançados.
dc.description.abstract2This article analyzes the workers' strike at Dass de Itaberaba that took place on 2013. Our proposal is, therefore, to investigate and reflect on these movements led by the workers together with the Footwear Sector Workers' Union, in the search for rights collectives provide better living conditions for workers, such as salary increases, basic food baskets, profit sharing and transportation assistance. For this analysis to be achieved, the methodological path had an exploratory nature of interviews with some protagonists of the strike, consultation of the digital newspaper Itaberaba Notícias, images, institutional material from the company Dass and specialized bibliography. Through this research, observation of the actions of the workers, who together were able to fight for their rights; that through a collective strategy they “stopped” Dass as a way of pressuring their employees to implement better conditions for the entire category, we therefore emphasize, clarifying the reasons that led to the strike and, consequently, how it occurred and the results achieved.
