dc.description.abstractBusca-se demonstrar como a revitimização nas delegacias de polícia pode perpetuar um ciclo de violência institucional contra mulheres que já sofreram violência sexual, comprometendo não apenas seus direitos fundamentais, mas também a efetividade da persecução penal. Nesse sentido, o problema de pesquisa deste trabalho se resume no seguinte questionamento: de que forma a polícia judiciária cumpre as determinações legais, no que tange ao tratamento dado à vítima, de modo que se evite a revitimização nos órgãos de desempenho da função? Objetivouse analisar a evolução histórica da tutela à liberdade sexual no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, investigar o protocolo de atendimentos às vítimas de violência sexual na Delegacia Especializada de Atendimento à Mulher (DEAM) de Camaçari e identificar os principais desafios enfrentados pelas mulheres ao buscar apoio junto à polícia judiciária, com foco específico na ocorrência do fenômeno da revitimização durante o registro da notitia criminis e o processo de investigação criminal. A metodologia adotada combina o método dedutivo e histórico, com abordagem qualitativa, utilizando entrevistas semiestruturadas, realizadas na DEAM, na Secretaria da Mulher (SEMU) e no Centro de Referência e Atendimento à Mulher (CRAM), ambos localizados no município de Camaçari. Além disso, foi realizada a análise documental e legislativa acerca do tema. Como resultado, verificou-se que, apesar dos avanços legislativos e dos esforços da equipe da DEAM de Camaçari em tornar o atendimento às mulheres vítimas de violência sexual mais humanizado e acolhedor, ainda persistem práticas institucionais enraizadas que acabam por gerar a revitimização dessas mulheres.
dc.description.abstract2This study seeks to demonstrate how revictimization in police stations can perpetuate a cycle of institutional violence against women who have already suffered sexual violence, compromising not only their fundamental rights but also the effectiveness of criminal prosecution. In this context, the research problem of this work is summarized in the following question: how does the judicial police comply with legal provisions regarding the treatment of victims, in order to prevent revictimization within the institutions responsible for law enforcement? The objective was to analyze the historical evolution of the protection of sexual freedom in the Brazilian legal system, to investigate the protocol for assisting victims of sexual violence at the Specialized Police Station for Assistance to Women (DEAM) in Camaçari, and to identify the main challenges faced by women when seeking support from the judicial police, with a specific focus on the occurrence of revictimization during the filing of the notitia criminis and the criminal investigation process. The methodology adopted combines deductive and historical methods, with a qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews conducted at the DEAM, the Municipal Women's Department (SEMU), and the Reference and Support Center for Women (CRAM), all located in the municipality of Camaçari. In addition, documentary and legislative analysis on the topic was conducted. As a result, it was found that, despite legislative advances and the efforts of the DEAM team in Camaçari to make the service more humane and welcoming for women victims of sexual violence, entrenched institutional practices still persist, ultimately leading to the revictimization of these women.
