dc.description.abstractConsiderando o quadro grave de violência contra as mulheres, por meio do feminicídio e crimes de misoginia que ocorrem diariamente no Brasil, seja de forma física, psicológica ou virtual, o presente trabalho analisa, enquanto gesto de leitura, os discursos realizados por homens em relação às mulheres nas redes sociais. A pesquisa tem como objetivo geral compreender como se estruturam os discursos proferidos por homens em páginas destinadas ao público masculino que abordam as relações de gênero. Como escopo teórico, a discussão sobre masculinidades se dá à luz do pensamento de Michel Foucault (1998, 2002), Pierre Bourdieu (2002), Jean Jacques Courtine (2013) e Luiz Paulo Moita Lopes (2001), bem como os conceitos de gênero conforme Joan Scott (1995) e Judith Butler (2018). A presente pesquisa vale-se da Análise do Discurso materialista, de tradição francesa pecheutiana, com os objetivos específicos de identificar elementos da materialidade linguística e multissemiótica que expressam misoginia e representações de masculinidade ou gênero, a partir da análise discursiva de conversas nas redes sociais; analisar a trama de como se dão as redes de significações e rearticulações das enunciações dos sujeitos sobre as relações de gênero e o que é “ser homem”; refletir sobre a constituição de posições-sujeito, marcas ideológicas, memórias do dizer e formações discursivas no posicionamento dos sujeitos nas postagens. Para tanto, no contexto da investigação, a montagem do arquivo e a composição do corpus se constroem com base nos dados publicizados e coletados com o uso da metodologia etnografia virtual (Hine, 2008), modalidade empregada na pesquisa de campo em ambientes virtuais. Neste trabalho, a montagem do arquivo foi realizada por meio de prints de publicações com os discursos proferidos por homens em páginas das redes sociais Instagram e 4Chan. A partir do gesto de leitura, a pesquisa observou que os elementos discursivos que sustentam os processos de representações das masculinidades, tendo como recorte a masculinidade entendida como hegemônica, identificada como hétero e cisgênero, estão articuladas com uma memória discursiva e uma formação discursiva machista e misógina, construída historicamente nas sociedades europeias e norte-americana, desde a antiguidade até a contemporaneidade. Analisou-se também que as redes de significações e as rearticulações das enunciações dos sujeitos apontam para homens que encaram, com receio, as conquistas das mulheres organizadas pelo movimento feminista. Constatou-se que a violência presente nos discursos aponta para uma tentativa de volta ao passado, em busca de manutenção da posição de privilégio e de dominação dos homens em relação às mulheres.
dc.description.abstract2Considering the serious situation of violence against women, through feminicide and crimes of misogyny that occur daily in Brazil, whether physically, psychologically or virtually, this study analyzes, as a reading gesture, the discourses made by men in relation to women on social networks. The general aim of the research is to understand how the discourses uttered by men on pages aimed at male audiences that deal with gender relations are structured. As a theoretical scope, the discussion on masculinities takes place in the light of the thinking of Michel Foucault (1998, 2002), Pierre Bourdieu (2002), Jean Jacques Courtine (2013) and Luiz Paulo Moita Lopes (2001), as well as the concepts of gender according to Joan Scott (1995) and Judith Butler (2018). This research uses materialist Discourse Analysis, in the French Pecheutian tradition, with the specific objectives of identifying elements of linguistic and multisemiotic materiality that express misogyny and representations of masculinity or gender, based on the discursive analysis of conversations on social networks, to analyze the weave of how the networks of meanings and rearticulations of the subjects' enunciations about gender relations and what it is to “be a man” take place, and to reflect on the constitution of subject-positions, ideological marks, memories of what is said and discursive formations in the positioning of the subjects in the posts. To this end, in the context of the research, the collection and composition of the corpus is based on the data published and collected using the virtual ethnography methodology, a modality used in field research in virtual environments, in this work the data collection will be carried out through the prints of social networks with the speeches uttered by men on Instagram and 4Chan pages. The research observed that the discursive elements that underpin the processes of representing masculinities, focusing on masculinity understood as hegemonic, identified as straight and cisgender, are articulated with a discursive memory and a sexist and misogynist discursive formation, historically constructed in European and North American societies from antiquity to the present day. It was also analyzed that the networks of meanings and the rearticulations of the subjects' statements point to men who view, with fear, the achievements of women organized by the feminist movement. It was found that the violence present in the speeches points to an attempt to return to the past in order to maintain the position of privilege and domination of men over women.
