dc.description.abstractA presente pesquisa visa realizar um estudo do romance histórico brasileiro contemporâneo Um defeito de cor (2010), de Ana Maria Gonçalves, sob a luz das teorias de Mikhail Bakhtin e a sua teoria do romance, com as noções de cronotopo, dialogismo e polifonia, e as relações entre literatura e história. Trata-se da saga de Kehinde, desde a sua infância na África, sua captura e chegada ao Brasil, como escrava, onde aprende a ler e a escrever, empreendendo uma grande busca pelo filho vendido. Nessa busca, Kehinde passa por várias cidades brasileiras até voltar à sua terra natal. Sigmund Freud também é utilizado, para analisar o fato de a narradora remontar sua memória a partir da sua infância, época em que os pais são heróis para seus filhos. Os conceitos de Édouard Glissant sobre Retour e Détour, bem como o desexílio de Mário Benedetti são utilizados para analisar algumas das ações da personagem principal. Ao dar a voz a uma escrava, a autora realiza uma metaficção historiográfica e problematiza os limites entre ficção e realidade, trazendo, para o centro das discussões, diversas temáticas, entre as quais se destacam: a presença das outras vozes da história, a dos vencidos, a noção de fonte histórica e a parcialidade do sujeito que escreve a narrativa histórica. Linda Hutcheon (1991) serviu de base teórica para a compreensão da metaficção historiográfica, bem como Walter Benjamin (1993), que articula historicamente o passado e a história não exatamente como aconteceu, mas estabelece um vínculo entre passado e presente em forma de constelação. dc.description.abstract2This research aims to conduct a study of the historical novel a contemporary Brazilian Um Defeito de Cor (2010), Ana Maria Gonçalves in the light of the theories of Mikhail Bakhtin and his theory of the novel, with the notions of chronotope, dialogism and polyphony, and the relationship between literature and history. This is the saga of Kehinde, from his childhood in Africa, his capture and arrival in Brazil, as a slave, where he learns to read and write, undertaking a wide search for his son sold. In this search, Kehinde passes through several cities in Brazil before returning to his homeland. Sigmund Freud also be used to analyze the fact that the narrator reassemble his memory from his childhood, a time when parents are heroes to their children. The concepts of Edouard Glissant Retour and Détour and the desexílio by Mario Benedetti will be used to analyze some of the actions of the main character. By giving voice to a slave, the author makes a metafiction and historiographical questions the boundaries between fiction and reality, bringing to the center of the discussions, several themes, among which are: the presence of other voices in the history of the losers, the notion of historical sources and bias of the subject who writes the historical narrative. Linda Hutcheon (1991) serve as a theoretical basis for understanding the historiographical Metafiction, as well as Walter Benjamin (1993), which articulates the historical past and the story is not exactly how it happened, but establishes a link between past and present-shaped constellation.
