dc.description.abstractEsta pesquisa constitui um estudo sob a perspectiva da topoanálise literária, que esclarecerá a importância do elemento espaço no Livro Capitães da Areia, de Jorge Amado. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar o espaço e suas funções presentes na obra e a tensão entre a cidade da Bahia e as personagens. Desse objetivo derivam os seguintes: identificar como os macros e microespaços condicionam as ações das personagens na obra; identificar algumas funções do espaço presentes na obra; e analisar a relação entre espaço e enredo. A metodologia utilizada nessa pesquisa é bibliográfica e analítica, para tanto ancora-se nos estudos da teoria do Espaço de Ozíris Borges Filho (2007), Gaston Bachelard (1978), Osman Lins (1976), Reuter (1995), Dimas (1987), entre outros. A ideia central deste trabalho é acerca da importância do espaço na construção do sentido do texto. Sendo espaço aqui concebido como elemento que pode ter um referencial externo, presente no real para explicitar a narrativa romanesca. Esse elemento vai além do material, é lugar de tensão, de reflexões propostas pelo narradopt_BR
dc.description.abstract2This research constitutes a study from the perspective of literary topoanalysis, which will clarify the importance of the element of space in Jorge Amado's book Capitães da Areia (Captains of the Sands). The main objective of this work is to analyze space and its functions in the work and the tension between the city of Bahia and the characters. From this objective derive the following: to identify how macro and micro spaces condition the actions of the characters in the work; to identify some functions of space present in the work; and to analyze the relationship between space and plot. The methodology used in this research is bibliographic and analytical, based on studies of the theory of space by Ozíris Borges Filho (2007), Gaston Bachelard (1978), Osman Lins (1976), Reuter (1995), Dimas (1987), among others. The central idea of this work is about the importance of space in the construction of the meaning of the text. Space is conceived here as an element that can have an external reference, present in reality to explain the novel's narrative. This element goes beyond the material; it is a place of tension, of reflections proposed by the narrative.
