| dc.description.abstract | A presente pesquisa consistiu da análise do livro Diário de Fernando: Nos cárceres da ditadura militar, compreendida como enfrentamento da ditadura civil-militar brasileira. Trabalhamos na elaboração do conceito de sofrimento propiciado pela tortura, sobretudo, a partir da perspectiva relacional entre produção confessional como "escrita de si", entendida como constituição do sujeito. Traçamos uma relação entre a experiência da tortura e o sofrimento do corpo, descritos no diário e entendidos como forma do "messianismo político" e "redenção de si". Nesse sentido, reinterpretamos os conceitos de testemunho e memória, entendidos agora como elementos de autoficção. Para que fosse realizada tal investigação, foram utilizados como fontes documentais o livro Diário de Fernando: Nos cárceres da Ditadura Militar (2009) e as cartas do Frei Fernando, contidas no livro O canto da fogueira, também organizado por Frei Betto. A análise das fontes estabeleceu um ponto crucial da pesquisa, cujo objetivo foi compreender como o indivíduo se constituiu a partir de uma determinada circunstância e através da “escrita”, tendo o corpo como partida e a “escrita de si” enquanto mecanismo de resistência frente ao sistema opressor. Para essa análise, o principal aporte teórico foi o texto A escrita de si de Michel Foucault. Através desse, compreendemos a escrita enquanto um registro de experiências cotidianas, bem como o reconhecimento de si, possibilitando a constituição histórica do sujeito. Analisamos também o conteúdo do diário como constituição de subjetividade militante concernente a uma situação de sofrimento corporal, espiritual e uma forma de enfrentamento à ditadura civil-militar brasileira. Desse modo, buscamos compreender como o período da ditadura e seus efeitos perante a política e a religião foram analisados e criticados pelos dominicanos presos. Contudo, compreendemos, por meio dessa pesquisa, que nas décadas de 1960 e 1970 a fé cristã e a vida comprometida com causas sociais atingiram seu ponto máximo. Para muitos cristãos significou um caminho árduo a percorrer, pois lutaram bravamente contra preconceitos pesados e compreenderam que o compromisso social tinha se aproximado do ateísmo marxista. Nesta luta, foi preciso mostrar para si e para todos os outros que a fé cristã e a opção social não divergiam em nada. Pelo contrário, justas, se fortaleciam. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | The present research consisted in the analysis of the book "Diário de Fernando: In the prisons of the military dictatorship", as a confrontation of the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship, in the elaboration of the concept of suffering caused by torture. Above all, from the relational perspective between confessional production as "self-writing", understood as the constitution of the subject. Relating the experience of torture to the suffering of the body, described in the diary as a form of "political messianism" and "redemption of self." In this sense, reinterpreting the concepts of testimony and memory now understood as elements of self-fiction. In order to carry out such an investigation, the book "Diário de Fernando: In Prisons of the Military Dictatorship" and the letters of Frei Fernando, contained in the book "The Song of the Fire", also organized by Frei Betto, were used as documentary sources. The analysis of the sources was a crucial point of the research whose objective is clearly to understand how the individual was constituted from a certain cinscunstancia through "writing", having the body as starting and understanding this "writing of self" as a mechanism of resistance against the oppressor system. For this analysis, we have as main theoretical basis "The writing of itself" by Michel Foucault. Through this, we understand writing as a record of everyday experiences, as well as the recognition of oneself, making possible the historical constitution of the subject. We also analyze the content of the diary as a constitution of militant subjectivity concerning a situation of bodily, spiritual suffering and a form of confrontation with the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship. This work sought to understand how the period of the dictatorship and its effects on politics and religion were analyzed and criticized by the imprisoned Dominicans. However, what we understand in this research is that in the 1960s and 1970s Christian faith and life committed to social causes peaked. For many Christians it meant a hard way to go, for they fought bravely against heavy prejudices and understood that social commitment had approached Marxist atheism. And in this struggle, they had to show to themselves and to all others that Christian faith and social choice did not differ at all. On the contrary, just, they were strengthened. | pt_BR |
