dc.description.abstractEste trabalho tenta compreender o funcionamento da contradição discursiva em postagens do Instagram de mulheres de biotipo gordo e que resistem à estereotipação da beleza feminina. Para responder ao objetivo principal, descrevemos as relações discursivas presentes no material; refletimos sobre o espaço virtual como elemento essencial para condição de produção destes discursos e destacamos os mecanismos que indicam a contradição discursiva. Para evidenciar os mecanismos dos processos de significação, recorremos a saberes instituídos por Michael Pêcheux, Eni Orlandi, Freda Indursky, Maria Cristina Leandro Ferreira, Helena Nagamine Brandão, Andréia Pruinelli, que são importantes nomes nos estudos e pesquisas na área da Análise de Discurso materialista. Também recorremos aos conhecimentos cunhados por Pierre Lévy sobre a cybercultura, e aos autores Joana de Vilhena Novaes, Denise Bernuzzi Sant’anna e Georges Vigarello, para pensar a história, as transformações e as percepções das posições sociais sobre o corpo gordo. Na apreensão da materialidade ideológica, operamos recortes para compreender as posições de sujeito, os elementos que funcionam como condição de produção destes discursos e, por fim, qual a materialidade discursiva da contradição. No total, foram selecionadas seis publicações, cujas análises baseiam-se, num primeiro momento, em um olhar investigativo; posteriormente, na descrição do material e, depois, na análise discursiva propriamente dita, considerando aspectos semânticos e sintáticos. Mobilizamos, principalmente, os conceitos de sujeito, de discurso, de formação discursiva, de contradição, de resistência e de formação ideológica. Também por meio deles interpretamos a dinâmica de sentidos que permeiam as formações discursivas que chamamos de Formação Discursiva dos Estereótipos de Beleza e Formação Discursiva de Resistência. Os resultados apontam que a contradição discursiva está marcada justamente quando, no material analisado, as sujeitas reproduzirem o discurso dos estereótipos, ainda que na tentativa de produzir outros sentidos, e/ou de romper com ele.
dc.description.abstract2This work tries to understand the functioning of the discursive contradiction in Instagram posts by women with a fat body type who resist the stereotyping of female beauty. To respond to the main objective, we describe the discursive relationships present in the material; we reflect on virtual space as an essential element for the production of these discourses and highlight the mechanisms that indicate discursive contradiction. To highlight the mechanisms of meaning processes, we resort to knowledge established by Michael Pêcheux, Eni Orlandi, Freda Indursky, Maria Cristina Leandro Ferreira, Helena Nagamine Brandão, Andréia Pruinelli, who are important names in studies and research in the area of Materialist Discourse Analysis. We also use the knowledge coined by Pierre Lévy about cyberculture, and the authors Joana de Vilhena Novaes, Denise Bernuzzi Sant’anna and Georges Vigarello, to think about the history, transformations and perceptions of social positions regarding the fat body. In apprehending ideological materiality, we make cuts to understand subject positions, the elements that function as conditions for the production of these discourses and, finally, what is the discursive materiality of the contradiction. In total, six publications were selected, whose analyzes are based, initially, on an investigative perspective; subsequently, in the description of the material and, then, in the discursive analysis itself, considering semantic and syntactic aspects. We mainly mobilize the concepts of subject, discourse, discursive formation, contradiction, resistance and ideological formation. Through them, we also interpret the dynamics of meanings that permeate the discursive formations that we call the Discursive Formation of Beauty Stereotypes and the Discursive Formation of Resistance. The results indicate that the discursive contradiction is marked precisely when, in the material analyzed, the subjects reproduce the discourse of stereotypes, even in an attempt to produce other meanings, and/or to break with it.
