| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho apresenta resultados da pesquisa realizada no Centro Municipal de Educação de Valilândia (CEMEV). Tem como objetivo geral investigar como os professores de Língua Portuguesa dessa instituição abordam o fenômeno da variação linguística em sala de aula. Como objetivos específicos, busca: a) observar se os docentes da referida escola fazem menção ao fenômeno da variação na abordagem dos conteúdos ou trabalham especificamente a variedade padrão da língua; b) analisar a postura desses professores quanto ao uso, pelos alunos, das variedades da língua; e c) identificar a concepção de erro de português adotada pelos professores. Para tanto, os pressupostos teóricos que fundamentaram esta pesquisa foram os da Sociolinguística Variacionista (LABOV, 2008 [1972]; MOLLICA, 2003, 2007) e da Sociolinguística Educacional (BORTONI-RICARDO, 2004, 2005; BAGNO, 2004, 2007; CYRANKA, 2007, 2008, 2011). A escolha metodológica adotada é de abordagem qualitativa, de caráter descritivo e exploratório, sendo realizada, ainda, a pesquisa de campo, com aplicação de questionários aos docentes e observação das aulas de língua portuguesa. Os resultados mostram que, de uma forma geral, embora haja a menção à diversidade linguística, a maior parte dos docentes possui uma postura corretiva frente as inadequações linguísticas oriundas dos estudantes e, em suas aulas, privilegiam o ensino do variante padrão da língua. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This work presents the results of a research carried out at a public school in the city of Valente – BA, Centro Municipal de Educação de Valilândia (CEMEV). It aims to investigate how Portuguese language teachers at this institution approach the phenomenon of linguistic variation in the classroom. As specific objectives, it seeks: a) to observe if the teachers mention the phenomenon of linguistic variation in their approach of contents or if they work specifically on the standard variety of the language as a content; b) to analyze the behavior of these teachers regarding to the students’ use of non-standard varieties of language; and c) identify the teachers’ conception of error in the use of Portuguese language. Therefore, the theoretical assumptions that underlie this research were those of Variationist Sociolinguistics (LABOV, 2008 [1972]; MOLLICA, 2003, 2007) and Educational Sociolinguistics (BORTONI-RICARDO, 2004, 2005; BAGNO, 2004, 2007; CYRANKA, 2007, 2008, 2011). In its methodology, it is described as a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory and a field research. In order to carry out this study, we did the application of questionnaires to the teachers and the observation of their Portuguese language classes, which built the data for the analysis. The results show that, in general, although there is mention of linguistic diversity in their lesson plans, most teachers have a corrective attitude towards linguistic inadequacies arising from students and, in their classes, favor the teaching of the standard variant of the language. | |
