| dc.description.abstract | O batismo é um sacramento religioso que está cercado de crenças e aspectos culturais. O mesmo, envolve sujeitos de todas as classes sociais, promovendo diversas interpretações e ações através do seu uso, desde os primeiros séculos de povoamento até os dias atuais ele persiste se ressignificando e ganhando novas interpretações de acordo ao meio que está inserido. Através da propagação da igreja católica durante o século XIX, esse ritual foi vivenciado pelos sujeitos cativos, libertos e livres da Freguesia Nossa Senhora da Conceição do Coité, onde indivíduos compartilhavam entre si sua fé religiosa, suas solidariedades cotidianas e os seus interesses e objetivos de sobrevivência em épocas tão incertas. Esse estudo tem o objetivo de analisar os batismos realizados nas três últimas décadas do século XIX, através do cruzamento de fontes, busca-se discutir acerca do compadrio como laço de solidariedades e como meio de buscar interesses e objetivos futuros, evidenciando a importância do compadrio na formação de grupos de convívio, formando laços sociais significativos que iam além das hierarquias sociais, envolvendo sujeitos socialmente desiguais. | |
| dc.description.abstract2 | Baptism is a religious sacrament that is surrounded by beliefs and cultural aspects. The same, it involves subject of all social classes, promoting diverse interpretations and actions through its use, from the first centuries of settlement until the present day it persists if resignifying and gaining new interpretations according to the means that is inserted. Through the propagation of the Catholic Church during the nineteenth century, this communion was experienced by the captive, freed and free subjects of the Parish of Our Lady of the Conception of the Coite, where individuals shared their religious faith, daily solidarity and their interests and objectives. Survival in such uncertain times. This study aims to analyze the baptisms carried out in the last three decades of the nineteenth century, through the cross-referencing of sources, seeking to discuss the crony as a bond of solidarity and as a means of seeking future interests and objectives, highlighting the importance of Compadrio in the formation of convivial groups, forming significant social ties that went beyond the social hierarchies, involving subjects socially unequal.
