dc.description.abstractEste trabalho é fruto de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e interpretativa sobre as formas de representação feminina nas tiras de Hagar e Helga. Neste trabalho propomos iniciar o processo de desconstrução dos estereótipos sobre a mulher presentes nas tirinhas do cartunista Dik Browne. Para isso recorremos a alguns teóricos os quais nos deram subsídios para o desenvolvimento do trabalho. Na Analise das tiras levamos em consideração os dois tipos de discursos nelas presentes (o verbal e o imagético e/ou imagético-verbal). Também buscamos identificar dentro das mesmas as formas como as mulheres são vistas e representadas, os espaços sociais reservados a elas, alguns dos vários tipos de abusos sofridos como diferença salarial e imposição da supremacia masculina sobre a feminina além de mostrar a visão do homem a respeito da mulher relacionando com os dias atuais. Com a finalidade identificar os tipos de preconceitos e estereótipos atribuídos às mulheres ao longo da história tais como submissão, passividade, a que está sempre à espera, a do lar, a que não pode participar da conversa de homens, não possui voz ativa e vive no anonimato, abordamos alguns conceitos sobre, tiras/quadrinhos, representação, mulher, família, gênero, preconceito e imagem.
dc.description.abstract2This work is the result of a literature search and interpretation regarding the forms of female representation in the strips of Hagar and Helga. In this work we begin the process of deconstruction of the stereotypes about women present in the strips by cartoonist Dik Browne. For this we turn to some theorists who gave us input into the development work. In the analysis of the bands we consider two kinds of discourses present in them (the verbal and the imagery and / or image-verbal). We also seek to identify within them the ways in which women are viewed and represented the social spaces reserved for them, some of the various types of abuse suffered as a wage gap and the imposition of male supremacy over women in addition to showing the view of man about woman's relationship with the present day. In order to identify the kinds of prejudices and stereotypes attributed to women throughout history such as submissiveness, passivity, which is always waiting for the home, which can not participate in the conversation of men, has no voice and live anonymous, we have covered some concepts, strip / cartoon representation, women, family, gender, prejudice and image.
