dc.description.abstractEsta monografia busca estudar e analisar os processos tradutórios de legendas como dispositivo de ensino-aprendizagem de língua inglesa por estudantes em formação do Curso de Licenciatura em Letras, Língua Inglesa e Literaturas da Universidade do Estado da Bahia (UNEB), Campus II, Alagoinhas. Neste viés, as questões voltadas à Tradução e Legendas serão teoricamente amparadas pelos pressupostos de Díaz Cintas e Remael (2006), a pensar a legenda como elemento de troca de signos linguísticos sociocultural e os processos tradutórios que ocasionam a aprendizagem de língua inglesa; as contribuições de Siqueira e Barros (2013) para entendermos a perspectiva intercultural no ensino de línguas mediante as narrativas e experiências dos professores durante o ato do processo tradutório das legendas; Mello (2005), contribuindo para melhor compreendermos o tradutor como produtor de significados da cultura de partida para cultura de chegada e, sob à luz de Nobre (2013) ao contribuir sobre às escolhas tradutórias e o uso de legendas em aulas de língua estrangeira. A pesquisa realizada é de abordagem qualitativa, com orientação nos fundamentos da Pesquisa Colaborativa defendida por Ibiapina, Bandeira e Araújo (2016), e, também, se caracteriza como uma pesquisa de campo. Nesse sentido, é uma abordagem que busca construir saber através da cooperação entre o pesquisador e os colaboradores participantes da pesquisa, afim de fomentar mais discussões e conhecimentos para diversas áreas de estudo. Sendo assim, o objetivo geral desta pesquisa é investigar e analisar os processos tradutórios na construção de legendas por estudantes de graduação, sendo os objetivos específicos: promover oficinas de legendagens para os colaboradores em graduação; o levantamento de dados a partir de questionário referente a experiência dos colaboradores durante o ato tradutório; e, em a análise e descrição dos processos tradutórios das legendas produzidas pelos colaboradores.pt_BR
dc.description.abstract2This monograph studying and analyze the translation processes of subtitles as a teaching learning device for the English language by graduate students in the Course in Letters, English Language and Literatures at the State University of Bahia (UNEB), Campus II - Alagoinhas. That way, the questions related to Translation and Subtitles will theoretically be supported by the assumptions of Díaz Cintas and Remael (2006), thinking of subtitles as an element of exchange of sociocultural linguistic signs and the translation processes that cause the learning of the English language; the contributions of Siqueira and Barros (2013) to understand the intercultural perspective in language teaching through the narratives and experiences of teachers during the act of translating the subtitles process; Mello (2005), contributing to better understand the translator as a producer of meanings from the source language to the target language and, and Nobre (2013) by contributing to the translation choices and the use of subtitles in foreign language classes. The research conducted is of a qualitative approach, with guidance on the fundamentals of the Collaborative Research defended by Ibiapina, Bandeira and Araújo (2016), caractezing, also, as a field study. Thus, is an approach that search to build knowledge through cooperation between the researcher and the collaborators participating in the research, in order to promote more discussions and knowledge for different areas of study. Therefore, the general objective of this research is to investigate and analyze the translation processes in the construction of subtitles by graduate students, with the specific objectives of: promoting subtitling workshops for collaborators on graduation; data collection from a questionnaire regarding the experience of employees during the translation act; and then to analyze and describe the translation processes of the subtitles produced by the collaborators.
