dc.description.abstractVisando desenvolver um raciocínio acerca do processo de conquista de direitos, o mote desta pesquisa é o trabalho doméstico, um dos verdadeiros pilares da economia brasileira; a função que permite todas as outras funções. Neste estudo, cujo recorte temporal é de 2013 a 2023, um período marcado pelas maiores crises econômicas e políticas que o Brasil já enfrentou, será realizada uma análise do ponto de vista econômico, jurídico, político e social a fim de relacionar esses fenômenos como decorrentes das bases axiológicas de subordinação racial e de gênero. Portanto, a escolha de examinar os impactos da legislação às trabalhadoras domésticas é consciente, uma vez que a categoria é composta preponderantemente por mulheres. Para uma melhor delimitação, a divisão temática foi feita em duas seções. A primeira irá se debruçar sobre as dinâmicas sociais e políticas que ensejaram a elaboração das leis de proteção à categoria de domésticas, bem como irá analisar os desdobramentos macroeconômicos do período em comento. Em seguida, chega-se ao momento final do estudo, ocasião em que, utilizando-se desse arcabouço analítico, para discutir a eficácia dos institutos legais de proteção à categoria doméstica, traremos uma discussão política acerca da conquista de direitos. Por fim, enfrenta a hipótese levantada pelo projeto que inaugurou a pesquisa, aferindo se o aumento de direitos trabalhistas ocasionou um efetivo combate à escravização moderna de empregadas domésticas.
dc.description.abstract2Aiming to develop a line of reasoning about the process of conquering rights, the theme of this research is domestic work, one of the true pillars of the Brazilian economy; the function that enables all other functions. In this study, whose time frame is from 2013 to 2023, a period marked by the greatest economic and political crises that Brazil has ever faced, an analysis will be carried out from the economic, legal, political and social points of view in order to relate these phenomena as resulting from the axiological bases of racial and gender subordination. Therefore, the choice to examine the impacts of legislation on domestic workers is conscious, since the category is predominantly composed of women. For better delimitation, the thematic division was made into two sections. The first will focus on the social and political dynamics that led to the elaboration of laws to protect the category of domestic workers, as well as will analyze the macroeconomic developments of the period in question. Next, we reach the final stage of the study, when, using this analytical framework, we will discuss the effectiveness of legal institutions for protecting domestic workers, and we will bring up a political discussion about the achievement of rights. Finally, we will address the hypothesis raised by the project that inaugurated the research, assessing whether the increase in labor rights has led to an effective fight against the modern slavery of domestic workers.
