dc.description.abstractO Turismo Cultural tem como motivação para viajar a cultura atrelada ao patrimônio cultural de natureza material ou imaterial, assim a preservação destes itens é fundamental para o desenvolvimento desta segmentação turística. Brejões-BA, município localizado dentro do Território de Identidade Vale de Jiquiriçá, encontra-se geograficamente próximo a municípios que compõem uma zona turística, porém o turismo não é desenvolvido no local. Com isso lugares que não conhecem sua história através do patrimônio, não conseguirá ter a visão que esses bens podem se tornar recurso turístico, assim invisibilizando sua identidade negligenciando a existência desses bens, sendo necessário estudos que coloquem o patrimônio como foco, com isso o objetivo dessa pesquisa tende a analisar a potencialidade turística do patrimônio cultural material e imaterial do município de Brejões-Ba. Com a seguinte problemática, apesar de não ser considerada um município turístico, como o patrimônio cultural material e imaterial do município podem contribuir para implantação do turismo cultural em Brejões? Com isso foi adotado como metodologia uma pesquisa exploratória, de natureza básica, adotando o estudo como procedimento técnico, tendo como foco o patrimônio cultural material e imaterial de Brejões-BA, como recurso turístico. Por mais que o município não esteja no fluxo convencional do turismo baiano, é possível transformá-lo em turístico, desde que sejam seguidas as orientações para promover o turismo cultural no município.
dc.description.abstract2Cultural Tourism is motivated by traveling culture linked to heritage cultural material or immaterial nature, so the preservation of these items is fundamental for the development of this tourist segment. Brejões-BA, municipality located within the Vale de Jiquiriçá Identity Territory, is located geographically close to municipalities that make up a tourist zone, however the tourism is not developed there. Therefore, places that do not know their history through heritage, you will not be able to see that these assets can be become a tourist resource, thus making its identity invisible, neglecting the existence of these assets, requiring studies that place heritage as a focus, therefore the objective of this research tends to analyze the tourist potential of the material and immaterial cultural heritage of the municipality of Brejões-Ba. With the following problem, despite not being considered a tourist municipality, as the material and immaterial cultural heritage of the municipality can contribute to implementation of cultural tourism in Brejões? As a result, it was adopted as methodology an exploratory research, of a basic nature, adopting the study as a technical procedure, focusing on material cultural heritage and intangible material from Brejões-BA, as a tourist resource. Even though the municipality is not in the conventional flow of tourism in Bahia, it is possible to transform it into a tourist one, as long as the guidelines to promote cultural tourism in the County.
