| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar duas cenas do romance Tarântula (Mygale, 1984), de Thierry Jonquet e a adaptação fílmica de Pedro Almodóvar intitulada A pele que habito [La piel que habito, Espanha, 2011]. Assim, analisaremos de que modo a relação de amor e ódio pelo corpo refletida por Adorno e Horkheimer (2006) circunscrevem as personagens do romance e, em parte, da adaptação fílmica. Ademais, investigaremos no romance como são construídas as personagens, tendo como foco o antagonismo encenado por elas e buscando elucidar as possíveis interpretações desse antagonismo ser modulado na adaptação fílmica. Por fim, será cotejado os objetos com foco no desfecho destinado às personagens, sobretudo Vera, numa promessa de redenção e salvação para esta, segundo o diretor. Também reinterpretaremos essa nota de agradecimento expressa nos créditos finais, bem como, outras passagens cênicas que tentam chancelar o filme almodoviano, este dotado de refinamento estético, opondo-o ao cinema hollywoodiano. Análogo, Tarântula, tenta se desvencilhar das reminiscências do Romance na sua gênese, mas, assim como A pele que habito, recai em desfecho tênue dos quais ambos se propõem afastar | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | This work aims to analyze two scenes of Thierry Jonquet's novel Mygale (1984) and the film adaptation of Pedro Almodóvar, entitled The skin I live in [La piel que habito, Spain, 2011]. Thus, we will analyze how the relationship of love and hatred for the body reflected by Adorno and Horkheimer (2006) circumscribe the characters of the novel and, in part, the film adaptation. In addition, we will investigate in the novel how the characters are constructed, focusing on the antagonism staged by them and seeking to elucidate the possible interpretations of this antagonistic relation being modulated in the filmic adaptation. Finally, the objects will be collated with a focus on the outcome intended for the characters, especially Vera, in a promise of redemption and salvation for her, according to the director. Also, we will reinterpret this note of thanks expressed in the final credits, as well as other scenic passages that try to cancel the almodovian film endowed with esthetic refinement, opposing it to the Hollywood cinema. Analogous, Mygale, tries to break away from the reminiscences of Romance in its genesis, but, like The skin I live in, lies in the tenuous outcome of which both propose to stray. | pt_BR |
