| dc.description.abstract | O objetivo deste trabalho é o estudo da poesia de Luiz Gama em Primeiras trovas burlescas, publicadas em 1861. Esta pesquisa buscou compreender como é constituída a voz do negro na poesia de Luiz Gama e a importância de sua produção para a literatura afro-brasileira. Somando-se a isso, mostrar o valor da literatura afrodescendente para a sociedade brasileira como ferramenta de valorização da identidade e da voz do negro, identificando ainda a presença da africanidade na construção da cultura nacional. Entender a relação do homem, do poeta e do abolicionista na construção poética. Por fim, investigar como as características literárias destas poesias apontam para uma nova vertente dentro da literatura brasileira ao examinar o posicionamento do poeta diante da problemática social negra. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.abstract2 | The objective of this paper is the study of Luiz Gama's poetry in Primeiras trovas burlescas, published in 1861. This research intended to comprehend how the black people's voice is constituted in Luiz Gama's Poetry and the importance of his production in the Afro-Brazilian literature. In addition, this research intended to show the value of African-descendant literature to Brazilian society as a tool to increase the value given to black people’s identity and voice, also identifying the presence of Africanness in the construction of a national culture. It also intended to understand the relation of the human being, the poet and the abolitionist in the poetic construction. Finally, it intended to investigate how the literary characteristics of these poems guides us towards a new strand in Brazilian literature by examining the positioning of the poet in relation to the black people’s social problematic. | pt_BR |
