dc.description.abstractO presente estudo pretendeu investigar a apropriação dos novos suportes de leitura na geração cibernética e contribuições dos mesmos à constituição do leitor, no distrito de Junco, município de Jacobina, Bahia. Para isso, buscou-se compreender quais os espaços, no distrito, em que mais circulam os novos suportes de leitura digital; quais os gêneros mais lidos nesse universo cibernético; em que medida os suportes digitais facilitam ou dificultam a apropriação de textos diversos pelos leitores da contemporaneidade; qual o perfil do leitor inserido nessa cibercultura e a importância e valor atribuído à leitura digital naquela localidade. Considerando-se que a rede de suportes digitais atrai leitores, subtende-se que esse tipo de ferramenta pode ser um objeto importante para o estudo da leitura. Sendo assim, foram tomados como aporte teórico os estudos de Almeida (2011), Barbosa (2010), Buzato (2009); Bellei (2002), Chartier (1945, 1999), Delgadillo (2002), Fagundes e Hoffmann (2008), Fischer (2006), Gomes (2002), Gomes (2011), Higounet (2003), Marcuschi (2003; 2010), Lemos (1997), Lévy (1999), Pinheiro (2014), Rojo (2009;2014) e Santos (2006) enfatizando a evolução dos suportes e a história da escrita e leitura, os gêneros digitais, hipertextos e a leitura na era digital. A abordagem metodológica adotada foi a pesquisa qualitativa, através de um estudo de campo, onde os dados foram coletados por meio de questionários, entrevistas e formulário, cujos sujeitos da pesquisa foram os moradores do distrito, selecionados de forma aleatória, frequentadores da lan house e do infocentro, bem como professores das escolas e representantes das empresas responsáveis pela transmissão da internet. Diante deste estudo e a partir da análise dos dados coletados, verificamos a predominância de gêneros textuais como literatura, noticiários e atualidades; suportes digitais como Smartphones em todos os espaços; gêneros digitais tais quais e-mails, chats e blogs acessados pela população em geral, bem como pelos internautas do infocentro; de igual modo, a funcionalidade da internet como acesso à informação e comunicação e o perfil desse sujeito leitor que se faz nesta geração cibernética.pt_BR
dc.description.abstract2This study aimed to investigate the appropriation of new reading assets in the cyber generation and its contributions to the reader's constitution in Junco district, in Jacobina’s city –Bahia. For this, we sought to comprehend which spaces, in the district, in which most of the new reading assets circulate; which are the most read genres in this cyber universe; to what the extent to which digital assets facilitate or hinder the appropriation of diverse texts by contemporary readers; what is the reader’s profile inserted in this cyberculture and the importance and value attributed to the digital reading in that locality. Considering that the network of digital assets attracts readers, it is implied that this kind of tool can be an important object for the study of reading. Thus, it was taken as the theoretical studies of Almeida (2011), Barbosa (2010), Buzato (2009); Bellei (2002), Chartier (1945, 1999), Delgadillo (2002), Fagundes e Hoffmann (2008), Fischer (2006), Gomes (2002), Gomes (2011), Higounet (2003), Marcuschi (2003; 2010), Lemos (1997), Lévy (1999), Pinheiro (2014), Rojo (2009; 2014) e Santos (2006), emphasizing the evolution of assets and the history of writing and reading, digital genres, hypertexts and reading in the digital age. The methodological approach used was the qualitative research by means of a field study, where the data were collected through questionnaires, interviews and form, whose subjects of the survey were the residents of the district, infocentro and internet café users, as well as school teachers and representatives of the companies responsible for transmitting the internet, all randomly selected. Before this study and from the analysis of the collected data, we verified the predominance of textual genres such as literature, news and current affairs; digital assets, for instance, Smartphones in all spaces; digital genres such as e-mails, chats and blogs accessed by the general population, as well as Internet users of the infocentro. In the same way, the functionality of the internet as access to information and communication and the profile of this reader subject that is made in this cybernetic generation.pt_BR
